CHARLIE’S ANGELS TV PILOT
Chief Instructor Jeff Moldovan has just returned from Miami after choreographing fight scenes for the new Charlie’s Angels TV pilot. Some of the action will feature the unique disarm tactics of TLM’s Fighting Chance Defensive Tactics. Also working on the show is senior TLM instructor Robyn Graham, who is stunt doubling a lead actress and senior Instructor Susan Saddler, helping with choreography and doing stunts on the show.
Senior Instructor Justice Maynard is helping with Parkour choreograpy and doing a fight scene with a lead actor.
Also working on the show as a lead stunt double is Jenn Harris of ENZO Stunts, trained by Walter Garcia, of ENZO. Both are extremely talented with an arsenal of kicks that have to be seen to be appreciated.
Jenn and Walter were introduced to to TLM Fighting Chance by another talented couple, Josh Lamboy and Heather Wallace, new students of TLM’s Fighting Chance and members of the ENZO team. It was very close between Jenn and Heather, but Jenn proved to be the most similar in build and height.
Two other talented Orlando ladies to land stunt double gigs are Sheree Woods, a very talented dancer and martial artist, and Rochelle Rene, a 5th dan Shotokan black belt. Both ladies worked extremely hard in the blocking, choreography and rehearsals.
The lead actresses were all trained in LA by Kung Fu champion and action film star, the lovely and talented Cynthia Rothrock. Cynthia is also a certified TLM’s Fighting Chance instructor and dear friend.
The actresses had very little time to train and made great progress in the short time they had. All worked very hard on the blocking and choreography and were a pleasure to work with, despite the stress and time crunch we had to get the work done.
Juan Bofeld, a very talented martial artist and director, helped with the choreography as well as helping production coordinate with the Hialeah and Miami Beach Police departments. The actresses were all trained in tactical weapons handling by some very helpful officers of both departments. Long time Friend, Artie Malesci, is the stunt coordinator of this show as well as BURN NOTICE which also features many of our disarm tactics. Artie is also a student and ardent supporter of TLM’s Fighting Chance Defensive Tactics.
